Is it possible to use a 4tb external hard drive with CDJ-2000 Nexus?

Hello,

After reading all the guidelines and searching through countless forum posts, I have yet to find a way to format a 4tb hard drive that will work with my CDJ-2000 Nexus. From my understanding, the only cross platform format that works (read/write) with both Windows and Mac and functions on the CDJs is FAT32. The problem arises from the fact that the MBR boot sector has a 2 TB limit which only leaves you with the ability to format it GUID partition table (GPT) if you want to take advantage of all 4TB. As the drive guidelines state, CDJs do not support GUID partition table so I'm at a loss as to what I should do. I have spent many hours trying to figure this one out and would appreciate any help.

My first question is: Is there any way to use a hard drive larger than 2TB with the CDJs?

My second question is: Why is there no support for GUID partition table when it is newer and better? (wikipedia)

Thanks in advance to anyone with insights,

Dak
