PLX 500 Detected But RB wont Select it

For the past couple months I havent been able record records with my PLX-500. It shows up in Rekordbox but once I select rec input in preferences it stalls for 2 seconds and says no audio device. Just tryed to reinstall Rekordbox with no change. Tried to switch all kinds of settings but still to no avail.

Are you using Windows and have you recently applied any system updates?

Please check that the PLX is not selected as the default audio device within the Windows sound preferences.

Totally spaced on this post but im saddly still dealing with this issue. Ive tried as many things that come to mind as possible even from other posts that have had somewhat similar issues and still no luck. It shos up in my pc and rekordbox but once I select the usb audio codec in rekordbox it just switches to no audio device.

Same problem here after trying all of the above. Windows 10, version 20H2, build 19042.662

@Jase > The common issue is that Windows thinks it should use the PLX as the default audio device and thus rekordbox can't use it.

Right, thanks. I'm assuming there's no workaround. Is this currently being looked at?
