problems with usb stick on xdj-rx2

when I load a track from the USB slot the hot cues respond late when pushed. Furthermore, when I push play / pause, the track stops but a loop echo remains active and the only way to stop it is to eject the USB stick. Can anyone help me?

As for the play/pause, are you possibly in CDJ mode (not vinyl mode)? That "loop" you hear is called "stutter cue" and is a throwback to the way CDJs cued a track before there was vinyl mode.
