Rekordbox can't detect device

Hello there,

unfortunately, I have some issues since using Rekordbox 5.8.4 which doesn‘t detect my USB and doesn‘t allow me to export any music or playlist. I‘m using a Mac which is detecting the USB regularly, formatted to FAT32 via the Macs disk utility manager (screenshot).

Can anybody advise me to solve this problem? As I‘m only using the standard version of Rekordbox to manage my music, I can‘t see any "EXPORT MODE"-tab what has been mentioned as the main problem in other cases. I can only select "TRIAL" for the Rekordbox DJ feature.

For starters, if you only have TRIAL, that means you haven't activated a rekordbox dj license; EXPORT mode is the default.

And the reason you can't see your export device is you haven't given rekordbox permission to access removable devices. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, and on the left select Files & Folders, then on the right, tick the box under rekordbox for Removable devices. If it's not listed, click the + icon to add it.

Note that you may need to click the lock icon at the bottom left and enter your password to make changes on this page.
