DDJ 400 not recognised by Macbook Pro

Hi,

I recently purchased a DDJ 400 and it has been working fine with my laptop (Macbook Pro  Catalina 10.15.3) up until today.  It suddently stopped working on the laptop but works on my PC and using an Iphone (with USB camera adapter).  It lights up when connected, with blue FX on/off button on and pressable pad selectors but doesn't register under USB devices in system information and doesn't show up in audio devices either in Recordbox or in Djay Pro 2.

Driving me crazy. Have tried everything. Please help.

To confirm:

- Not the cable (as working on PC)
- Not the UBS port (as have tried others and still doesn't work)
- Not the MIDI studio issue. I have remvoed from the MIDI studio per the FAQ instructions and doesn't work.
- Not resolved by rebooting or by reinstalling recordbox / djay pro 2 (have tried both).

Regards

Hey Rowan,

When you "removed" it from the MIDI Studio, did you create a new MIDI configuration?

I would ask that you connect the DDJ, open the System Information, scroll to Hardware > USB and check the tree on the right to see if it appears there.

I do have the same problem, except that with a brand new DDJ-FLX4. Can't make it work on my MacOS Catalina, tho it suddenly works once in a long while. Tried it in a few PCs, it works at first and then suddenly stops at all too.

Can't find help with Pioneer support emails, they dont even answer me anymore.

USB is NOT appearing on HARDWARE>USB. Not here, not on any PC i've tried. Not this cable, not any.
