When tracks from recordbox loaded to usb the seem corrupt. can't pause the track.. instead its Not controllable with jog-wheel. Cue doesn't work etc. you can only just play it.

I use a SANDISC - FAT. as recommended.

Hey Alain, can you give us a bit more information, because I don't have a clear picture of what's happening.

Here's what I get...

- you've prepared songs in rekordbox and exported them to a USB device

- you connect the USB device to the RX2 and load a song

- you can't pause the song (what happens if you do?)

- the jog wheel doesn't pitch bend or scratch (is it in vinyl mode?)

Here are my other questions:

- can you see the time for the track elapsed/remaining?

- is there a large waveform? overview waveform?

A video would help answer some of these.

hi, thanks for responding so quickly.

when i use the xdi rx2 as a midi controller it plays the files just fine.

When i export them to my usb of and insert this in the usb port, the track loads, but starts immediately. When i use the start, stop it doesn't stop but the track 'stutters' very fast. I tried files exported true record box and plain mp3 directly from my downloads/bandcamp etc. I tried using my I phone with the recordbox app, connected on the usb port it responds the same

. The top of the jogwheel doesn't seem to work like it should. the top responds the same as if you handle it from the side of the wheel.

The pioneer xdj RX2 is brand new. bought it 3 days ago. I've updated the firmware hoping it should fix the problem No luck though.

Hope you can help me out.

Regarding the track starting automatically, that's because you don't have Auto Cue enabled - press and hold the AUTO CUE button to enable it.

As for that "fast stutter" is the cueing method when you have vinyl mode disabled; that's perfectly normal. And because you don't have vinyl mode on, that would also explain the fact the jog doesn't scratch when you move it.

update. The stuttering, and start/stop problem doesn't happen when the jog-wheel vinyl mode is put on.

I would like to be able to play when not in vinyl mode, though.

thanks a lot. really strange feature that stutting is :)

just one question. Why is it the stuttering doesn't happen when the xdj is in midi mode - jog-wheel on vinyl-mode or not?
