ddj 400 controller

ddj 400 controller isnt even being recognised by my laptop and there are no driver settings for ddj 400 in rekordbox audio settings. can anyone help as ive only bought it two days ago and tried everything but cannot get it working. the ddj 400 isnt even lighting up

Have you tried a different USB cable or USB port... or even a different computer? You can test it by connecting it to a USB power brick which should provide enough power for it to light-up. If that doesn't work, please contact your retailer for an exchange.
