You could turn the master louder on the 400 itself; I typically find the 3 o'clock position is about right to match the master to the channels.

DDJ 400 low volume output?
I've got my controller connected to a JBL Speaker but it doesn't get nearly as loud as if i would connect my Iphone to it. Master knob is at '0' and trim knob at 9 o'clock while the lights are green/orange. Is there any way i can fix this? Or would this work with different speakers?
