Followinternal deck output with instant doubles
hi im new to rekordbox dj and the DVS software. i understand that with instant doubles i can play from one vinyl deck, mirror the tune play into an internal deck and then cross fade to it, and have continuous playback. but when i do cross fade there is no output from the internal deck. can you help please?

right so ive got a rp2000mk2 through the interface 2 into a numark m101.
if i into phono on the mixer, switch mixer and interface to phono i get distortion in channel one and a very very quiet playback in channel 2, but i do have control of the software.
if i into line on the mixer, switch mixer and interface to line i get no signal to the software and no playback.
so i line into the mixer, switch mixer to line, but the interface to phono and i get crystal clear volume and control of the software, but no channel 2.
in prefernces - audio:
audio= interface2 asio
input record= interface2 asio deck1
input deck1= interface2 asio deck1 (phono)
input deck2= interface2 asio deck1 (phono)
output deck1= interface2 asio deck1
output deck2= interface2 asio deck2 (thru)
i just cant find a combination that'll play the internal/thru decks instant double...
The reason you're not hearing the other channel -- I'm guessing deck 2, is because it's set to THRU instead of USB.
Open the Interface 2 Utility and set them both to USB:
thanaks for your reply...
but sadly even with both output routing in the interface setting utility on USB nothing changes, i still have no instant double output from channel 2.
so just as a reminder i into deck1 on interface from turntable, interface is therefore set as phono, the output then goes into mixer in line (as in phono it distorts carzy like), the USB connects the interface to comp, and that routing both are set to USB. on the software im relative deck1 and internal deck2, but have no output once i mirror and corssfade from 1 to 2...grrr...lol

Do you not have the deck 2 output from the IF2 box to the mixer's second channel?
omg how embarrassing i hadnt plugged the 2nd channel. im sorry schoolboy error. thanks for helping me through. great work Pulse...now onto the fun bit...cheers...nick
Glad it was that simple! ;) Enjoy.
