With the A USB connection, are your channel inputs set to the PC-A connction?

Djm900nxs2 usb connection
Hi there when i plug my djm900nxs2 into my laptop via usb to record a mix laptop dosent connect to mixer green light dosent flash but if i unplug usb lead and plug into phone wirks fine with light flashing green i have tried downlowading drivers and allso updated mixer to latest firmware too still no joy its annyoning

Connecting my phone through a usb connection and i didnt think i had to change the channel inputs as i not using mixer to control software i just want to record my mix via the usb output

Need to clarify - are you connecting your laptop to the A connection at the top left, and the phone to the USB S/R connection at the top right of the mixer?
And are you trying to record to your phone or the laptop?

Hi sorry i plugd my laptop into usb sr top right of mixer to record my mix and not working i have plugd phone into same usb slot top right of mixer to try and green light flashes and detects phone
