Is there a way to use a DJM-450 with two 350-CDJs and rekordbox and redirect sound to OBS Studio?

Hi,

I just want to redirect the sound of my DJM-450 to OBS Studio, while mixing live from it.

I have tried everything, including ASIO4All driver, AudioMeter Banana, Virtual Cable and OBS Studio, all linked together to achieve that goal, but with no success.

Rekordbox seems to work only with that out-of-the-box ASIO driver, unfortunately. Whenever i try to change it to another driver, then everything seems to become working very strange (only the LEFT CHANNEL working, for example, even when i play a tune on the right cdj, it seems to be played and controlled from the left channel, fader and knobs included).

Is it possible to capture the live mixing from DJM-450 and redirect that mixing to OBS Studio? This is for video and audio live streaming purposes.

I even have tried (over and over, with multiple different configurations) that DJM guide you guys have posted before, here:

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004806423

but without any luck as it seems to be working with the 900NXS2 mixer only, not with the DJM-450 one.

Can you guys please help?

Thank you, J Amorim

You can skip all those steps in the article, select the DJM-REC out as the output for CH1, then in OBS, select the DJM-450 as your audio input and that's it.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

I have tried that but with no luck.

If i map DJM-REC to CH1 i will have a huge boost sound distortion when i play anything on channel 1.

My setup is a DJM-450 + 2 CDJ's 350 + laptop. I have an USB HUB where i connect the mixer and the players. I then connect that HUB to my laptop via USB.

Can you please try to do a tutorial with all the steps involved?

1) Windows Sound Configuration (default devices, etc)

2) RekordBox (mapping channels both INPUT and OUTPUT)

3) OBS (Settings -> Audio -> Devices -> What to choose here?!)

4) OBS (New Source -> What to choose here?!)

Thank you again.
