DDJ 400 Headphone Issue

Hello, I'm putting together a home studio and got a DDJ 400 just to play the tracks I'm making. I havs Audio Interface, and connected my monitors and computer to it. In Rekordbox I selected the Audio Interface as the Default audio device, and sound comes out fine. The problem is that when I connect my headphones to the DDJ, no sound comes out. I know it's because the default device is the Interface, so I then connected my headphones to the 1/4in jack behind the interface, but I don't get sound either. I went back in Rekordbox preferences to the "Headphone output" and only have two options, "Output Channel 1 and Output Channel 2." If I enable them i get sound even though my the "Cue" button isn't enabled on a specific channel. There seems to be no way to cross the two devices so I can hear headphones through the controller, and monitor through the interface. Can you help me? Hopefully I made sense.

rekordbox is unable to handle audio sent to two different audio interfaces, so you're unable to use the DDJ-400 in combination with another device without jumping through some hoops, which may introduce latency or delay between the devices.

I only have one interface I may have over complicated it. I just want to connect one interface to the computer/controller/speakers, I simply want to know how to do so and have the cue working as It should. For some reason, i can't adjust the rekordbox audio preferences to have the headphones from the Interface, or from the DDJ. Is there a recommended pathway to connect everything to monitor appropriately?

If your audio interface doesn't have more than one stereo pair of outputs, then no, it can't be used to route both the master and headphones. What is the device you have?

The controller is DDJ 400, and the interface is a Presonus 24c. Damn so that may be the issue. I mean technically its 3 right, stereo out + headphones right?

Not exactly - it looks like the headphone monitoring on it is just for the input or output, but not a separate I/O itself.
