Do not mentioned the service manual and a power circuit fault with the early DDJ SX2’s

Why was my thread closed as soon as I mentioned the know issue with the early model SX2’s power delivery circuitry, which I found out by looking at the service manual. If this was enough of an issue that later batches were modified during manufacture in the factory why was a recall not put in place.? The fact that the issue seems to be power related and mine in now having power issue leads me to believe I was sold a faulty unit from new. My SX2 has had very limited use compared to some and has been looked after and stored away in its original box.!

i do not believe in coincidences.

if the issue is found out to be due to the fault mentioned in the service manual I would expect Pioneer to repair my unit in good faith.

Who can I get in contact regarding this matter after investigation by an authorised technician.

I'm sorry, we don't have any manufacturing or engineering information available for you regarding any changes made to the SX2 production. They may have made modifications during the run simply due to changes in hardware availability, as is often the case (a perfect example is the change in the original CDJ-2000 model LCD provider). There was never any recall or service bulletin issued for the SX2.

Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired as nobody here is authorized to provide you with any information regarding disassembly, modification, or repair of your controller.
