The problem is OBS can't natively handle ASIO devices; install this plugin then you will be able to select the S9 as your audio input device.
Wondering if anyone can shed some light for me. Looking to configure a streaming setup for twitch. (I usually do for games so have both OBS + Streamlabs OBS setup / knowledge) but never used it with a DJing setup.
My setup is as follows, I have my S9 plugged into my Mac for playing music on USB slot B on the S9 and a cable running from USB slot A to my Windows 10 PC which is where i'll be running my stream from.
With the mixer plugged into my PC it detects the device straight away but there's no setting utility at all on the windows PC to check the routing (i may be being silly here) would I need to install the drivers / firmware on both my Windows PC AND Mac for this purpose or would the S9 drivers being installed just on the Mac work or would it have to be installed on both devices?
Any tips / guidance on this would be appreciated, i've done everything in OBS and streamlabs like making sure it's selected as a mic / auxiliary device and also selecting it as an audio input device.
I tried to look in the forums but they don't quite offer the guidance needed, i'm aware I could run it through voicemeter banana or xsplit but i'm aware it should work straight into OBS / Streamlabs without that configuration?

Update: I've got the drivers installed on my Windows 10 PC and can get into the utility to see this, the output settings show as USB 5/6 as MIX (REC Out) which i believe is correct but even after selecting it as a MIC / Auxiliary device in OBS / Streamlabs and adding it as an audio input capture this doesn't work.
I've turned all volumes up on the mixer itself, booth, master, sampler, crossfader is directly in the middle, channel faders are up and there's sound coming out just not transferring to PC
I think i made it.
After install the plugin chose the ASIO as source on obs, then configure it by choosing:
- device as "PIONEER DJM-S9 ASIO"
- Format as "Stereo"
- OBS channel 1 as "DJM-S9 IN 5"
- OBS channel 2 as "DJM-S9 IN 6"
after that i can hear both deck A and B together
