Rekordbox Playlists - Default Sorting Option

Hi there, I’ve been wondering for a while about the track numbering in Rekordbox playlists for quite a while now and I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere. 

I have all my playlists sorted by genre - maybe 40 playlists total and about 3000 songs in my collection. I’ve always ordered these playlists alphabetically by track title, so that whenever I think of a song I want to play I can go to the appropriate playlist and scroll through to find the track I’m after. I’m aware that tagging and search functions make this style of organising defunct to many people, but I play on an XDJ-R1 at home that doesn’t support a lot of these features, Furthermore, I often find myself at gigs playing on the older style CDJs (850s/900s) where the search function isn’t nearly as intuitive.

The issue I’ve had is that whenever I add new songs to any of my playlists, the default sorting option is set to “date added to playlist”. The track is given the next available number in the “#” column, which means that when I next plug my usb into a CDJ the recently added song will appear at the bottom of the playlist. The only workaround that I'm aware of is clicking the “track title” column in Rekordbox and using the “renumber track order” feature - but this has to be done for each and every playlist each time I add a new song. 

I didn’t mind this at first, but it becomes incredibly irritating when I want to add 20 different songs to 20 different playlists, and then before ejecting the usb I have to go into each playlist and renumber the track order one by one. I’ve been using Rekordbox for about 3 years now and it just feels so counterintuitive - there’s an option to sort all your playlists alphabetically with one click, so why can’t it be equally as simple to organise all tracks within playlists this way? Surely nobody wants their tracks ordered in such a way where the most recently added stuff is sent to the bottom - if anything you’d want it the other way around, so that you had the new stuff you’re more likely to play at the top?

I really hope I’m being stupid and that there’s a simple fix to this but I’ve been having this issue for years now and I can’t seem to suss out how to change the default sort option from “date added to playlist“ to something else. If there’s a menu option I’m missing or a workaround to speed up the reordering process please let me know :)
