External HDD library and library transfer to main HDD for Cloud Sync

Hello everyone. I’m new. I have a question I hope someone with experience doing it can answer: I’m wanting to transfer all of my library and settings from my external HDD to my main drive. Will the Cloud Sync process also transfer and merge the data files and folders RB created on the external HDD or will it create a new db and settings and need to import and re-analyze everything? Thanks
