Dear Sir,
Thank you for your comment. A part of data is shared between rekordbox v5 and v6. So please do not delete any kind of data / folders.
Thanks,
Before upgrading to ver 6 I cloned my database onto another external drive and performed the library conversion process with no problem. One will be used for ver 5 and the other for ver 6. Now if I understand this correctly there are still two databases on the converted external harddrive... one for ver 5 and now ver 6. Incompatible but sharing the harddrive never the less. If I now perform a "Backup Library" with music files from Rekordbox 6 then "Restore Library" will the ver 5 data still be there? The reason I'm asking is if they are not compatible, there's no reason for it to be on the same drive taking up space. Does Rekordbox 6 need the version 5 data there to function and is there a way to safely remove it?

This brings me to an additional question.
Once installed rekordbox 6 in parallel to rekordbox 5, I moved the DB to a different drive for rekordbox 6 compared to rekordbox 5. I did that via the preferences.
rekordbox 5 DB is on drive D:\ while rekordbox 6 is on drive E:\
The both share the same music files.
Are both libraries now separarted completely? Are the files both libraries are sharing duplicated and copied to the other location for rekordbox 6?
The database files for each version are located in the same folder. But they function as separate programs with the tracks located in the same folder.
