DDJ-SX1 Master Out problem
Hello all -
I am having an issue with getting sound out of the master out 2 output to external speakers. For the time that I've had this controller, I would just hook it up from the master out 2 ports into the linein input of my soundcard for my PC with an rca to 3.5mm adapter and then it would work fine. Now when I take those same cords and place them directly into the external speakers, I don't hear any sound coming from the speakers. However, these speakers do work with the same cords and same adapter if I were to plug the 3.5mm input into my phone and then play sound from my phone.
The only thing that I can think of is that my setup on the controller is wrong but I'm lost as to what I do to fix it.
In short, this is what works.
DDJ-SX-->Master Out 2 to RCA Cables-->RCA Cables to 3.5MM Adapter into LineIn of Windows 10 PC = Works!
Phone-->RCA Cables to 3.5MM Adapter into External Speakers = Works!
This is what I want to work but currently does not.
DDJ-SX-->Master Out 2 to RCA Cables into External Speakers = Does Not Work!
I'm grateful for anything that can help me with this. Thanks. I am using Serato. I'm not bound to it so I can use something else if it helps me out. Thanks in advance everyone.

Hello and thanks for entering. I'm trying to connect them to some Bose Companion 2 Series II series. There are two sets of red/white RCA inputs in the back, the input for the AC adapter and the input for the other speaker.

They should just work connecting the master RCA output from the SX to the line input of the speakers. If those RCA cables don't work, that would be the only variable you haven't tested in another configuration.
