its very sad times.
I love my XZ very much. Had initial problems with dust inside the Jog Display but the exchange unit was free from that and still is.
Unfortunately today I discovered an absolute no go for this price and I am not sure if it was there all the time or it developed. I think it must have been there from the start but due to my usage I did not notice as of now.
As I have a good gridded and memory qued library and I dont scratch I only noticed today that when I forwarded a track by spinning the jog it did not really spin center but was like an unround wheel. It also feels very loose and slugish when scratching and a small amount of momentum is lost because first the top plate is only pushed forward before spinning.
I know the outer ring and the center piece have some play by default but this very is noticably worse than the left one which is good and direkt and does not spin like a broken wheel.

Who do I contact to fix this in Germany?
Also I fear during repair dust will enter the jog and I have the same shit I returned it for in the first place.
Are there even spares available at the moment?
Maybe I am better of selling it as demand is high. I dont know...

Sorry to see that -- if you are within the return period of your retailer, please contact them for an exchange, otherwise you'll have to contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and repaired.

Thats the most important thing... Money and Time are irrelevant when health is an issue...
Unfortunately return period is over.
I will contact the german service center and talk to them.
I hope they will be able to find out what parts are needed through the video and can order them and tell me to send it in once they arrive.
If they need the unit to check for parts I will be without it for quite some at the moment time i think.
I am not too familar with the jog wheel design. But I know there are 3 clips holding the Jog ring. I think either the arretation is off or something broke but i cant hear anything.
It moves like left one just much more. The left one maybe 1mm and the right one 6mm.
Maybe they can also book in the claim and just handle it once this Virus thing is over. Hopefully before warranty expires...Or if its booked in even after that.
For now it would be sad to not have the unit in this situation even if it spins like an old tire on the right side :)
If you file an inquiry ticket here and get in contact with our support team in Europe, they'll make sure that even if things run overtime for the warranty, you'll still get support. :)

But good to know you think its not normal. That makes me confident it will get fixed no questions asked.
