DDJ-SR need longer USB cable.

I recently bought a 15 foot USB Printer Cable from eBay that was working perfectly fine a few days ago but today all of a sudden it doesn't output sound from the controller. Still powers on perfectly fine but does not output audio at all. I tried plugging the OG USB cable and the audio works. I tried this with two computers and multiple ports. 

I need a reliable long distance cable to be able to setup a stream directly from my desktop PC which is mounted on top of my desk. A 10 ft cable would be perfect, but seeing numerous videos as how not every USB cable is apparently made the same, is there any long cable you guys recommend that you personally use?
