DDJ-RX with Rekordbox 6

Hi 

I am running

Rekordbox 6

Mac High Sierra 10.13.6

16gb Ram

512gb SSD

2.3 GHz i5 Processor

Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

The songs are very slow to load, and occasionally lag out chopping the audio, as well as the sound wave bar is consistently lagging, making it almost impossible to properly cue a song. 

I've reinstalled the RX driver, and have closed all background applications but still the problem persists.  Is there any other reason this might be occuring?
