Pioneer xdj 700’s cue buttons won’t work.

On both of my xdj 700 players the cue buttons won’t work.. I thought maybe it was a setting because both buttons still light up and click.

If you don't have a cue point set, they won't work until you press PLAY/PAUSE to pause the track, then press CUE to set one.

The other way around this is to enable AUTO CUE by holding that button until A.CUE appears in the display.

I have turned that one and off and still nothing. Can’t set any cues manually or even when the track is playing cue should take you back to the start.. basically the cue buttons don’t work all all but they still light up and click...

Are you playing tracks from a USB device or controlling rekordbox?

Which mode are you using? CDJ or Vinyl? Set it to CDJ and hit the play/pause button. You should hear the sound stutter. Now press the ''CUE'' button. The stutter should stop and there should be a new cue point set. If that doesn't work, there's a problem with your player. There may be a test mode you can activate. During test mode you can push every button, twist every knob, push every fader and spin every wheel and get confirmation that it is ok or not. Those test codes are usually kept secret from the the average user, reserved for tech staff, but maybe the Support staff can help you, or use a search engine to find out. If I say more, my comment will probably be removed.
