I normally use a USB but need to incorporate lighting with RB-DMX1. Thus, i need to use laptop.
When using USB, i get track info displayed on CDJ2000NXS2. Specifically, i can see BPM and key info for each track before deciding to load.
I'd prefer to use the laptop as a data storage and lighting device and continue to look at CDJs for track info but here's the issue.
When i connect mac via HID (must be in performance mode for lighting), the CDJs no longer display BPM, key info. I guess this is because the developers thought i'd be looking at the laptop for this info?
Ideally, i'd put mac backstage somewhere and never look at it but the lack of track info make this an issue.
Anyone know how to fix? I looked at prolink an a potential solution but i can't find anything about if LINK solves this issue.

Sorry, export mode (link) doesn't currently have any lighting control, so you'd have to use the performance (HID)... but the BPM and KEY information is displayed on the CDJs. Are you referring to during playback or the columns of what's visible when browsing?
