CDJ-350 HID Mode

Hi,

I recently purchased a pair of CDJ-350's and a DJM-S3 mixer. From everything I'ev read online it appears that the CDJ-350s are indeed able to operate in HID mode using Serato DJ Pro. The DJM-S3 has a built in Serato sound card and therefore unlocks the Pro version of Serato as soon as you plug in.

Despite this, i'm struggling to connect this setup in HID mode. I have my 350's hooked up via USB cable to a USB hub and the hub plugged into my laptop. My DJM-S3 is also plugged into my laptop via USB I've also tried a variation where all three are plugged into the USB hub an then into the laptop.

In both scenarios, Serato recognizes that the CDJs are connected and recognizes them as MIDI control devices. On the CDJ's, my input source is selected as computer and the screen on both displays "Control : Connected"

Yes in Serato, nothing happens. No motion of the CDJ translates onto the screen. Furthermore, when going into MIDI mode in Serato, the software prompts me to move or click a function on the CDJ to map it to Serato. Again, interacting with the CDJ does nothing.

Looking for advice or troubleshooting.

Thanks

@Dmitriy > Did you press the encoder button when it says "Connected"? That would take you to the next step where you choose which deck the CDJ is controlling.

Tried that but it did not help. Seems that the 350 is not compatible with Serato DJ.

Unfortunately Serato does not support HID for the 350s

You can just use them as DVS with Serato soundcard and Serato DVS CDs
