Ableton Link - both decks starting and stopping

All the latest updates and firmware New cables and fully loaded MBP 16” When I activate Ableton Link and then activate Link on decks 1 and 2 I am experiencing unexpected behavior - Deck 2 starts and stops both decks. Deck 1 starts both decks but will only stop itself. I have tried restarting my laptop, search the net for solutions and reading manual but I cannot figure out how to avoid this behavior. Unfortunately I can’t use Ableton Link while this is happening. Additionally, are there any best practices for Ableton Link with Maschine? I noticed most of the time Maschine is off by one beat. The only work around I noticed is starting Link on Maschine first, then pushing play on Maschine then activating Link on Rekordbox DJ. And NEVER turning Maschine off and on again cause it will go off beat usually. for what it’s worth, I noticed a similar behavior in Traktor with Maschine sometimes being off by a beat as well.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your comments. We've fixed this issue on the latest rekordbox ver 6.0.1.

Thanks,

I am on Rekordbox 6.0.3 (MacOS using DDJ-400) and both decks still start and stop at the same time. Like the pervious user reported, Deck 1's play/pause button will also play/pause deck 2 and the other way around. This only happens when Link is enabled on both decks. This makes Ableton Link unusable. Happy to provide more info it would help with getting this fixed.

Our team is aware of this and is working to improve the link functionality. Thank you for your feedback.

I am on Rekordbox 6.1.1 on Windows 10 and am having the same issue where, when Ableton Link is enabled, pausing any deck that is "linked" causes all "linked" decks to stop playing as well.

Also, it sounds like the BPMs of the tracks are synced to Ableton Link, but not the beatgrid.  Is this intentional behavior?

Any idea when it can be fixed?  Thank you for any info.

I think I have found the solution and not sure if this feature just came in the update 6.4.1.

There is now a checkbox on preferences>Deck at the bottom for ableton link to enable start stop sync. If you uncheck that it appears to work ok now and doesn't affect the other decks.

Yes -- the previous way to avoid this was to un-link the deck as you used it, but that did become a bit cumbersome. Thank you for sharing that update.
