If you're also adding the phrase analysis, yes - it would take longer.
They're two different applications so it's not comparing apples to apples.
Hello there....
I changed my system from Serato DJ to rekordbox and wondering that takes analyzing a lot of time >> much more than Serato DJ.
Serato DJ works via multi threading and double the numbers of cores (Intel i9 >> 8 cores >> analyze 16 tracks at the same time >> finished 4 - 5 hours, 35.000 tracks).
Why does rekordbox takes 20 hours for the same library?
Works rekordbox also via multi threading and takes more time, because the analyzing is more specifically (e.g. phrase analyzing) ?
Thanks in advance for explaining 👍

Hello and thanks for answering.
Yes of course, the both systems absolutely not comparing.
But i thought, my really fast Macbook (16" 2020, Intel i9 Octacore, 64GB RAM) analyze the Tracks faster very much. The algorithm is unknown for me but the time difference between 5 and 20 hours is really huge.
Okay and thanks you very much >> it's acceptable because it should be for just one time 😉
PS:
look my other posts and requests >> the rekordbox.com loading / login problem is consistent if the checkbox "stay logged in" is enabled.
if unchecking this checkbox via log in, the problem is gone >> but i forget this ever and ever again
Are you running the analysis in PERFORMANCE mode (see the rekordbox preferences); if you're set to NORMAL, it will only run 1 track at a time.
Ah okay THANK YOU VERY MUCH 👍
1) Is there a difference between analyze tracks in performance or export mode?
2) Do you mean the last section in [PREFERENCES] >> [ANALYSIS]... There are 3 options for "power", "normal" and "power saving"?!
POWER (option 1) is selected since start up.
You said, that's the best option to analyze tracks faster >> right?
