Hi there - I purchased a brand new DDJ-1000 and 16 inch Macbook Pro (2.3GHz 8-core with 16GB) in the last 2 weeks. Running Catalina 10.15.4, rekordbox 6.0, all latest drivers (1.1.0) and firmware (1.07) for the controller.
Rekordbox is now crashing most days - the screen freezes up, the music keeps playing for 30-60 seconds, the screen then completely crashes into a blurry purple and yellow mess and then RB shuts down. The Macbook is often running very hot at the time (for no legitimate reason as it is not analysing anything and I am simply mixing two tracks). No other programs are open on the macbook. It's hard to imagine a high spec macbook not being able to handle what is being asked of it here.
I have used Pioneer hardware for 15 years and am incredibly disappointed with my initial rekordbox experience (I have used Traktor for the past 5-6 years and never had a system crash like this).
