Rekordbox Cloud Sync

Hey forum & Pulse,

Currently transitioning my library over to Rekordbox 6 (creative plan) and syncing it to dropbox.

Due to a limit of local storage I set dropbox's selective sync not to store the files locally in Mac/users/macbook/Dropbox/rekordbox/...

This has lead to a selective sync issue on drop box and my library is now split across several folders:

rekordbox

rekordbox (selective sync conflict)

rekordbox (selective sync conflict 1)

and i have found that rekordbox has missing tracks in the cloud!

I have tried to auto relocate however you can't navigate to a non local folder i.e.

dropbox/reckordbox (selective sync conflict 1)/contents_*******/

A quick way to rectify this issue would be an addition in functionality of the preferences>database>auto relocate search folders

At present you can only search for a folder. Adding the ability to manually type in a path would allow users to manually merge the conflicted folders once the sync has completed and then use the auto relocate to update the correct file paths accordingly.

regards

DJK

Hey DJK

I just upgraded to a Pro plan with the same idea and functionality, same results as you: I wanted to get everything online for backup and dropbox is getting me the same folder structure that you are talking about.

My music is stored on an external SSD and its file sturcture is based on iTunes, as I have been collecting music there for ages.

Can you recommend a solution / workaround for this?

Many thx,

J
