Got these speakers a few weeks ago with the DDJ-400. Been having a great time until today, I started playing and noticed a light hissing sound. When I pause the music, it is very noticeable and will get louder if I turn up the master level volume. I then realized it stays when playing music as well. I tried unplugging all my wires and still nothing works. Any ideas?

I am having exactly the same issue static/hissing noise from dm40 speakers when no music is playing. My speakers are less than 1 year old this is very frustrating i even bought new RCA cables thinking it was them but i am still having the same problem. How can I rectify this?
Try turning down the Mic volume knob on the back of the controller. Worked for me!
