Still no ALAC support on XDJ-XZ

I have understood that FLAC support was added to the XDJ-XZ with the new firmware. But is it correct, that ALAC is still not supported?

I have thousands of songs in ALAC and decided for Pioneers NXS2 setup two years ago especially because of its support for this format. Now I want to expand my setup (2 CDJ 2000 NXS2, 1 DJM 900 NXS2, RMX-1000, PLX-1000, DJS 1000 etc.) by a more mobile device for smaller events. I thought that the new XDJ-XZ is the new flagship all-in-one controller which provides NXS2 experience. At least this is what Pioneer Marketing says...

But another post in this forum states, that ALAC support is restricted to the "real" NXS2 devices and not supported by an all-in-one controller, which costs > 2,200 EUR. Are you serious?

Denon is offering an all-in-one Controller which provides ALAC support besides a lot of other features for a significant lower price. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Pioneer fan (see mentioned setup above) but there is an end to it...
