@Siavash > Did you check the mic/line switch on the back?

Hi I just bought a Shue PGA 58. I plug it into the s9 mic input, and to hear anything, I have to have the mic level turned all the way up. Also, the talk over feature seems to do nothing. I have it plugged in with xlr cord. Mic is fresh out the box, S9 is a month old. Any thoughts?

Yes I have. Ive plugged and unplugged, started and restarted, updated firmware, updated software, pointed the mic in all different locations. I've done everything I can think of. Only thing I haven't done is test a different mic and a different mixer. I'm open to any other suggestions
So I read in the user manual that the talk-over function doesn't kick in until the mic input is -10 dB or above. Well with the mic level, mic high, and mic low, and the master volume all the way up, I can barely get the mic level above -12 dB unless I scream into it. Is it possible the mixer has a bum pre-amp? Any suggestions on what else I can do to address this?
