cant hear cued track through headphones ddj 200

hi ive recently purchased a ddj 200 and using rekordbox to learn how to mix. when using rekordbox I can only hear the track being played through my speakers but not the cued track through my headphones. ive used the controller on dj pro and I don't have this issue ?
