XDJ-RX2 will not start up in update mode
I want to update the firmware on my XDJ-RX2 but the unit simply will not start up in update mode. I've tried it about 20 times - holding down the USB stop and Reloop buttons but it just starts up normally. There are no cables attached and no USB sticks connected.
Completely baffled... any help would be much appreciated.

Ah, the USB stop buttons don't appear to be working.... and I had noticed the record functiion wasn't working either.

Yes - I'd recommend having it inspected / serviced as there may be a problem larger than just the switch (button). Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region.

Were you ever able to solve this issue @rdsl1975? I am having the same one...the USB stop buttons don't work. All other buttons seem to operate correctly.

I did - but I had to send it to a Pioneer authorised service centre - and it transpired it was the previous Pioneer service centre which had actually created the problem when they have opened up to fix a previous issue with the tempo slider failing .... Back to the vinyl! So much less can go wrong with those.

Blah - tell me about it!! I actually got this controller to do more vinyl spinning, was super disappointed by the preamp quality on my DDJ1000.

I looked back... £126 - Real Electronics in Leeds. It may have been more to get the unit there and back from London. They were very efficient.
