Given that v5 is no longer receiving updates, I'd recommend v6 as it's free with your hardware, and offers newer features.

New to Pioneer - Rekordbox v5 or v6?
I have ordered a Pioneer DDJ controller having used Traktor for 10 years. I would like some advice as to which version of Rekordbox would be best for me to use when my controller arrives - v5 or v6?
My inclination is to go with v6 as this is the newest iteration of the software?
