Rekordbox Bug: Recording stops when connecting XP2

I have both a DDJ-1000 and an DDJ-XP2. Because the DDJ-XP2 has no power button, or sleep mode, (only ON or DEMO), all buttons are constantly lit up when powered, so I often unplug it while not in use.

If I am recording with Rekordbox using and my DDJ-1000, then decide to plug in the XP2 (while recording), all recording is stopped and I get the Recording Info window to enter recording name etc.

I looked at recent rekordbox release notes and do not see any mention of this.I also looked at the XP2 downloads page and see no firmware updates.

This could be solved by correcting this power on bug, or possible adding a true sleep mode that turns all lights off - like the DDJ-1000 has.
