ddj-1000 and diy controller

Hi,

Would anyone know if it is possible to have both the ddj-1000 and a second midi device both controlling the same function. I.E the ddj-1000 sending a cc message for say, eq low (cc15 msb & 47 lsb) and a 2nd diy controller (teensy microcontroller) also sending the same cc's on the same channel? This would be for a diy 'kill switch' solution.
