Speakers Delay Through AVR

Hi I am having a delay in home theater system . I am using DDJ-400 connected to AVR (Sony STR-DN1080) which is connected to ELAC 5.1 surround sound speakers. I understand there is some processing either by AVR or the speakers but do not know which one is causing the delay. Is there a way to find out? What settings are optimal for AVR connected to the controller.

Try to find out if there is a "direct" or "bypass" mode to avoid the audio processing delays of the receiver.

Thank you for the reply. That solved the delay, but it switched it to 2.1 (only front speakers working now). Is there no way to keep it 5.1?

Thanks again.

Some amps may have a "full" option to output to all speakers - check the manual.
