Cdj800 mk2 master tempo and wide randomly turning on and off
Hi there.
Turned my CDJs on the other day and one started acting strangely. Not entirely surprising because of their age. But I'm loathe to throw anything out that has legs left in it.
Just like it says in the title the wide /master tempos randomly turn on and off making having a mix pretty much impossible. I've stripped it back and cleaned the lens and given the pitch a good clean, but no joy.
Thinking it maybe the circuit board. Not to sure about checking continuity. I have a multimeter.
Any suggestions are welcome. Doing my nut being unable to play ha ha

It would be cheaper replacing the motherboard, once you take postage into account, surely?
I imagine inspection plus p+p is gonna roughly £100. Before parts/labour added. A CDJ this old it makes sense changing for another. Looking at a pair of 1000mk1s.

I can take it apart no problem. It's the diagnostic side I'm unsure about. Circuit boards are not my forte. I think I'm gonna buy a replacement off eBay if I have no joy finding any help.
