Problems using new iPhone 13 Pro with XDJ 1000 (Rekordbox)

I have two original XDJ 1000 decks and I am trying to plug my new iPhone 13 Pro to use the installed Rekordbox app, as a source for my music. I have been able to sync my Rekordbox playlists, etc. from my computer to the app on my iPhone 13 Pro  but my XDJ 1000s do not recognize the iPhone once it is plugged in. I have attempted to go into the Rekordbox app settings but nothing seems to work. I probably would not have this issue with newer decks but shouldn't these XDJ 1000s be compatible with the iPhone Rekordbox app?
