Beat sync without key change

I use a DDJ-400/800/1000 console and laptop for my presentations. Because I'm constantly updating my playlists with new tracks, many times I don't have time to adjust the beatgrid and need to use the sync button to help when I can't make a perfect beatmatch.

When pressing the sync button, not only the beatmatch occur but also the key is modified because the key sync.

Is there a way to configure the sync button to only beatmatch without modifying the key?

I have already tried clicking the "key sync" button on Rekordbox to enable and disable it but without success (it always does key sync).

Hi Pulse,

MT is always enabled on both decks and MASTER is enabled only on the “main” track. When loading the next track with sync enable, there is the issue.

I’m running RB 6.6.1 on Big Sur OS.

No, not MASTER (as in SYNC), but MASTER TEMPO (MT). That will keep the key of the audio the same regardless of the speed.

Yes, I understood your comment. I was talking about Master to be clear about the new track is always loaded on the "non master" deck.

MT is always ON on both decks (master and non master) but I will check the status next time

Please do, as MT prevents the key shifting you would hear when you adjust the playback speed. Try setting the pitch range to its widest setting and hear if you get any chipmunking when you go to +50%. If you do, MT is not enabled.
