Official comment
Think of the Interface2 as an intermediary; it converts the DVS signal in, to audio signal out. You would need to use a mixer to actually MIX the audio, and that device would then either need to have the ability to output to a recording device or another audio interface to record into the computer (or directly as an interface itself).
