Xdjrx2 performance mode freeze/crash in midi mode.

Hi, I am using all the latest firmware and updates but at my last 3 gigs my controller has frozen, no buttons will work the only way to get it to work again is to power it off and back on again. I've tried it in standalone and it works perfect. I've tried various usb cables also and still no luck. The only other thing I can think of is a loose usb/midi socket on rear of the xdjrx2 . Would that cause the controller to randomly freeze? Works fine sometimes for 30 to 60 minutes then when I go to load a track on the xdjrx2 it freezes. The software on laptop is fine just the controller is unusable . Please help.
