Issue - music skipping when rekordbox isn't the main window

Windows 11, Pioneer DDJ-800, Rekordbox 6.6.1 (note: issue was already present in 6.6.0)

When I use rekordbox and have the rekordbox-window maximized or full screen, everything is fine.

However, when I either minimize the Rekordbox window or switch to another window (tested this with Chrome as well as Onenote), the music starts to skip, sounding similar to a cd skipping in a cd-player.

Obviously not happy about this, how do I fix it?

Could be one of a few things, including your system not having adequate resources, so it's unable to keep up. It could also be that the CPU is going to turbo-boost, causing the hiccups.
