Check the audio settings in your DJ software to ensure that the XDJ is set as your output device.

Pioneer XDJ-RX2 dont get sound in my headset
Hi, when I connect my MAC via USB cable to my XDJ-RX2 I dont get any sound in my Headset - just out of the MAC? It worked last week.
I have updated my MAC software to BigSUR
When I play from a USB memory stick it works perfectly.
Anybody know what to do?

Well, for starters, you're using the Built-in Output as your device - that should be set to the XDJ-RX2. Try changing that first.
