I see this was resolved in a ticket; for others finding this post, the solution was ensuring the grids started at the correct part of the track (having the 1.1 measure in the correct location).
Hi all,
(Macbook pro / MacOS Mojave - latest buiild)
Recently upgraded from RB5 to RB6 (latest versions).
Have gone through all database conversion etc but as soon as I tried to copy some playlists to a (newly formatted) USB drive, the export got stuck at 1% every time. I realised it was because a track needs "Add New analysis Data" in order to be exported and a lot of my tracks dont seem to finish analysing even if I force the issue by right clicking or loading the track to a player.
The analysis appears to start and the progress sometimes hits 99% but never fully completes, reverts to 0% and the question mark remains. This happens in export or performance mode. Wifi is OFF. I've rebooted etc etc..
This is happening for a worrying number of tracks and there is no pattern. Some tracks are on my external and some on local drive. Random tracks in the exact same-sub folder analyze fine while others refuse... Even right click > Analyze track does nothing.
I am currently running " Add New analysis Data" on my whole collection of 30k tracks to see which ones are going to be problematic, but I have a feeling its a lot and I am starting to stress. I have a gig in 2 days :/
Removing these tracks and re-adding them to the collection is going to be extremely time consuming (impossible, really) because they are all over the place and exist in MULTIPLE playlists.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated guys - I'll owe you one for real!!! Name your price!
Bigup!

To clarify, its not about having the 1.1 in the "correct" location - its about having beatgrids from the beginning of the track whether there's silence or an intro there - if you have a long gap before the beatgrids begin, RB6 wont handle and will end up in an "analysis loop" of sorts.
This is a result of using Serato and then converting my tracks to RB5 with Rekordbuddy. Negative bar counts are not allowed in Rekordbox 6 which I think is a shame because very often the beginning of a track is not the first beat of the track. This makes bar counts almost pointless in those cases where songs have an intro.
Anyways let me get back to manually beatgridding those 1300 tracks 😢
