Rekordbox 6 - Tidal tracks won't analyze

Hi,

I've been using Tidal alot! My playlist have above 1000 tracks for the most part but i'm noticing the same problem now even in smaller playlists:  the tracks load, rekordbox cues them for analysis, but nothing happens and eventually the analysis track counter drops to 0 but the tracks remain unanalyzed.

If i manually drag the track, it'll load and be analyzed. While this is an ok work around, this isn't a viable way to manage my stuff. I'm using the FLAC Tidal service.

Also, is it me you CANNOT load two tidal track AT the same time without it taking 6000 years to load (vs loading 1, then waiting for it to be loaded to load another one)? Is it intended NOT to be able to load more than 1 track at the time?

Thanks for the help!

I just tested in rekordbox 6.6.1 and had no problems loading Tidal tracks to four decks at a time to be analysed and ready to play in a matter of moments. Thats said, I have a 300Mbit fibre connection and I'm getting terrific speeds:

Try speedtest.net or fast.com to see what kind of speed you're getting for your network connection, as it could be rekordbox is giving up on analysing tracks because it's not getting them served up quickly enough.

Thanks Pulse, I've tested my connection is 95 (should be 120 but that's a call i must have with my ISP). That being said, the difference in speed shouldn't create a "2nd track won't load at all".

Also, were you using tidal FLAC or the AAC (big file size difference).

Now the last problem and this is the one that's the worse, some songs won't analyze at all. I did uncheck the beta feature "get information from the internet" but doesn't work much better. Any ideas?

Thanks
Frank

Frank,

Yep - FLAC files here, and it sucks them down in moments, two at a time.

I'll direct you to please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue. Thanks!
