Headphone cue not working properly DDJ-FLX6

I have a DDJ-FLX6 hooked up to my windows computer running recordbox. 

The headphones play a muffled version of the master output constantly despite the master and headphone cue butons not being clicked and also play muddy versions ontop of this when headphone cues are utilised to monitor.

Mix on the front it set all the way to cue but i always get the non cued track sound. Master cue is off. 

Please tell me there is a easy fix for this that i am missing.......
