Beamz Panther 40 Led Spot Moving Head - Color correction (wrong colors)

Colors are wrong at the moment. For example Blue gives you kind of white white and so on.

Here's right values for colors (9 & 11 channel)

Hello Llama,

Thank you for providing the details of the issues in colors and channels with a new manual. rekordbox lighting engineers will investigate if correct DMX values are outputted from rekordbox. Thank you for your patience until any news is ready.

And additional info, manual below (V1) which came with product, included just descritions like "color 1", "color 2" and so on. And values are a bit different. So don't know which manual (V1 below and V1.1 above) to believe, but anyway at the moment, current fixtrures/settings aren't working correctly.

And more info about this. I checked "right values" using and testing via DMX Direct control and apparently channels and values from V1 (just colors 1,2,etc) are right. I also checked in lighting mode:  different colors from rekordbox - whats the result in moving head and apparently:

  • Rekordbox BLUE gives Purple light
  • Rekordbox PURPLE gives Blue light
  • Rekordbox CYAN gives Yellow light
  • Rekordbox YELLOW gives Cyan light

My results for right values - colors are:

  • 000-007 = WHITE (right at the moment)
  • 008-014 = color 1 RED (right at the moment)
  • 015-021 = color 2 YELLOW
  • 022-028 = color 3 CYAN
  • 029-035 = color 4 GREEN (right at the moment)
  • 036-042 = color 5 PURPLE
  • 043-049 = color 6 ORANGE (right at the moment)
  • 050-056 color 7 BLUE

Could you please send us the complete manual V1 with a link so that we can check the DMX values. This is probably causing the issues and thank you for finding it.
However, we need to verify that we are talking about the same product.

Our library contains both versions. Please see the screenshot below.

These two modes have the color details you are looking for.

Thank you, but unfortunately yep, I have tried them both, and for some reason, those (both 9 & 11chl) in screenshot gives result described above (blue = purple, cyan = yellow and vice versa). :( and other two of course won't work at all.

Those two you pointed in screenshot, have these value-color combos?

I was wondering, could there be THIRD model for some reason. Tee product have label 150.461 MK2 in bottom of device. And just realized that box included two manuals (v1 and v2.0). Both include same values but no description which is which color. Internet really doesn't give any answers, cos theres so many different manuals and really can't figure it out which ones are right ones...

  • 000-007 = WHITE (right at the moment)
  • 008-014 = color 1 RED (right at the moment)
  • 015-021 = color 2 YELLOW
  • 022-028 = color 3 CYAN
  • 029-035 = color 4 GREEN (right at the moment)
  • 036-042 = color 5 PURPLE
  • 043-049 = color 6 ORANGE (right at the moment)
  • 050-056 color 7 BLUE

Hello Llama,

rekordbox lighting engineers tested colors by randomly setting white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, cyan and purple to check the DMX values. They found the correct values are outputted.
3: open
11: red
18: orange
25: yellow
32: green
39: blue
46: cyan
53: purple

Please create a macro of the incorrect colors and provide us with two database. Also, provide us with the Venue name and macro name where the incorrect colors are shown.
