UNPLAYABLE FILES AFTER XDJ-XZ FIRMWARE UPDATE 1.23

I recently updated my XDJ-XZ from Version 1.22 to 1.23.

After the update, some of my mp3 files in my playlists on the USB drive won't play and show up on the display screen. When the files attempt to load, an error message appears, "E-8305 unsupported."

These files in my playlist were able to display and play when my unit had the Version 1.22 without a problem.

Is there any way that the XDJ-XZ can be reverted back to the 1.22 Firmware state?

Thanks.

Excuse me.
Can I upload an MP3 labeled E-8305 somewhere and give it to me?
I would like to find out the cause.

Hi Tomo.

Do you want me to attach one of my mp3 files from my iTunes library here?

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks.

Hi Darryl,

I also work for Alpha Theta and Tomo is asking if possible to upload one problematic mp3 that cause the error, to sharing service like Dropbox or WeTransfer, Google drive and let us download.

Google drive needs to be public to let us download.

Where do you download your tracks from?

Thanks,

Hiro

Hi Hiro.

Thanks for your response. I wasn't sure what Tomo was asking.

I opened an account with WeTransfer and I've uploaded one of the problematic mp3 files from my Rekordbox Playlist.

It's asking for an email address. What's the email address I should send to?

I don't download much of my music library. I have a large CD collection. So I've ripped music from the collection I own.

In general, I haven't had any problems with any of my files until the firmware update was performed.

Hi Darryl,

(1) Select the MP3 FILE to be uploaded to WeTransfer.

(2)Check the red circle below. (Press 1 and then 2)

(3)Press the button to Get a link.
(4)The URL will be displayed, so copy it and write it here.

Hi Darryl,

I guess Tomo knows better about WeTransfer. Hope you got it?

Thanks Hiro & Tomo for all your help.

I have opened the new ticket and mentioned you regarding the circumstance.

I did an experiment: I took the CD's containing the files that were ripped causing the error message and ripped them again using my current version of iTunes. I created a new playlist with the new ripped files in it and exported them to my USB drive (San Disk Extreme Pro). I inserted the USB drive with this playlist in the USB 1 slot on my XDJ-XZ and funny thing, the files all load in their respective decks with no error message.

That's weird wouldn't you figure?
