CDJ 3000: Pitchfader no center detent?

HI,

not sure if "detent" is the correct adjective (at least this is what I found in technical data for sliders), but from my XDJ 1000mk2 I am used that the pitch fader has a center detent, so it is easy to find the zero pitch position.

On my CDJ 3000 the pitch fader has no center detent, so you have to watch the display to carefully adjust exact 0% pitch.

So is this the normal way it should work? So I have to use the "tempo reset" button to have quickly 0% pitch?
